#WIFE: You Won’t Regret It

Trust God-You wont regret it

Keep trusting God.

Give up trying to help Him but don’t give up trusting Him to help you.

Trust Him. In everything. For everything. With everything.

You’ve got nothing to lose but e.v.e.r.y.thing to gain.

You may get discouraged, you may despair, you may be dismayed but choose to trust Him anyway.

Scripture reassures us, “No one who trusts God like this—heart and soul—will ever regret it.” – Romans 10:11 MSG

He is good, His plans are better, He knows best.

Don’t stop trusting Him.

You won’t regret it.

Be encouraged.

Don’t Find X, Trust God

In the equation of life, time (t) may be unknown (x) to us, but it’s not to God, and He’s not like our math teacher asking us to find x, He wants us to know instead, that He is the constant, He doesn’t change, we can trust Him.

Not to mention, all the ‘x’ we found when we were in school, who or how has it helped? Lol, but seriously though, what’s the use of worrying about what you have no control over?

Timing, the bible says, is the Father’s business. (Acts 1:7)

So, rest girl.

Rest in the fact that, you may not know when, but you know the One who does.

Trust Him, trust God.

Be encouraged.

So They Say Time Is Going

Time

They say time is going.

Well yea, it’s going to get to mine.

It may seem to be tarrying,

but it’s going to get to mine.

There’s no cause for worrying,

for it’s going to get to mine.

My steps, God’s ordering,

guiding me to mine,

there’s no point hurrying,

He’s perfecting  me for mine.

So, though they say time is going,

He says there’s a right timing

and I believe that time is coming.

So yea, time is going,

going to get to mine.

#WIFE: Better’s Never Behind

Let go-Move on.jpg

“But forget all that, it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”

– God, your Redeemer (Isaiah 43:18-19)

If God has brought you out of something, be encouraged to let go and move on, trust that He has something better for you, He says the plans He has for you are of good and not of evil… (Jeremiah 29:11)

You may not see it immediately, you may not feel it either but trust Him, trust Him, trust Him.

Be encouraged.

#WIFE: Some Encouragement For Valentine’s Day

Valentine encouragement

Does it feel like you are standing outside Noah’s ark today, everyone’s paired up but you?

Is the red everywhere making you blue?

You’d rather not be having alone time on valentine?

Yes, Valentine’s not just for lovers, it’s a day to also show love to others but after all said and done, you still wish you had a significant other?

Feeling left out? Lonely? Frustrated?

Beloved, can I encourage you?

The bible says, “and after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.” – 1 Peter 5:10 AMPC

Now, I’m not saying you are suffering because you don’t have a sweetheart on Valentine’s day but I know it’s hard, it can be painful and it’s not always enjoyable.

So, here’s some encouragement drawn from the bible passage quoted above;

  • The ‘suffering’ won’t last forever. You won’t always be alone on Valentine’s day. Just because it hasn’t happened yet, doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
  • You want to trust and rest in God rather than being desperate because all blessings and favor, including the blessing of a spouse, comes from Him.
  • Just because things are not going as you expected doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. He’s with you, working as you wait.
  • God has plans to settle you, don’t let ‘suffering’ make you settle for less than God has planned for you. It may be hard but it’s best to wait on God.

A few more things (not from the bible passage quoted);

  • However you choose to spend today, remember that you are loved. God loves you so much, it may sound cliché but He really does, like cwwwaaaaazzzieee!
  • You are not less than, you are not left out or missing out (not if you are where God has you at this time).
  • Don’t compare yourself with anyone else.
  • It’s okay if you decide to lay off social media today.
  • It’s better to be alone, being prepared for what you ought to have, than to have what you ought not, in order to not be alone.
  • It’s not a bad idea to do something nice for someone today, it could bring you some cheer.

One more thing;

You know we love you here, right?

We do! ❤

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Be encouraged.

#WIFE: You’re Being Refined Not Burned

rose-1751345__340

It may seem like you are going through ‘fire’ but be encouraged, you are not burning, you are ‘goldening’. Is that a word? I just made it up. Goldening because this (whatever it is), won’t get the best of you, God will use it instead, to bring out the best in you.

Just like gold, you are being refined not burned.

Check out these scriptures for some encouragement;

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” – James 1:2-4 MSG

Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us…” – Romans 5:3-5 AMPC

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you. – Isaiah 43:2 AMPC

“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 MSG

Keep trusting God and be encouraged.
